ESSENTIAL RIDES: Medical Appointments, Grocery Shopping, Prescription Pick-up & Drop-off or transport to a congregate lunch.

· Congregate Lunch – WASI’s priority is to provide essential transportation to a congregate lunch located in our main dining room, with door-to-door service for seniors 60+ and who are living within a 5-mile radius of the center for a suggested donation of $6.00.

· Medical Appointments, Prescription Pick-up & Drop-off, Grocery Shopping – Transportation is provided to and from medical appointments, prescription pick-up or drop-off, and grocery shopping within the Mat-Su Valley for a suggested donation of $10.00.

NON-ESSENTIAL RIDES: Trips that are not medical in nature or deemed ‘essential’ are available. To learn more about non-essential rides, please call the dispatch office.

Trips can be reserved up to 30 days in advance by calling the WASI Dispatch office,

Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Wasilla Area Seniors, Inc. Transportation program is in-part funded by individual donations, rider fares and a Nutrition, Transportation and Support Services grant from the State of Alaska Division of Seniors & Disabilities Services Department of Health.
