Good morning,

Preaching in the Book of Acts (KJV) highlights the explosive growth of the early church through the bold proclamation of Jesus’ resurrection, the Kingdom of God, and salvation by grace. Key references show apostles and believers preaching in cities like Samaria, Antioch, Athens, and Rome, often amidst persecution. 

Preaching by:

Places:

Acts 8:4: Those scattered by persecution went everywhere preaching the word.

4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. 

Acts 8:5: Philip went to Samaria and preached Christ.

 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 

Acts 8:25: Peter and John preached the gospel in many Samaritan villages.

25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans. 

Acts 8:40: Philip preached in all the cities until he came to Caesarea.

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea. 

Acts 9:20: Paul immediately preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. 

Acts 11:19-20: Scattered believers preached the word to Jews in Phenice/Cyprus/Antioch, and some preached the Lord Jesus to the Grecians.

19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

Acts 14:6-7: They were preaching the gospel in Lystra and Derbe.

6 They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:7 And there they preached the gospel.

Acts 15:35: Paul and Barnabas continued in Antioch, preaching the word of the Lord.

35 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also. 

Acts 16:10: Paul and Silas concluded the Lord called them to preach the gospel in Macedonia.

10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. 

Acts 17:13: Paul preached the word of God at Berea.

13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people. 

Acts 28:31: Paul in Rome preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Acts 8:34-35: Philip preached unto the eunuch Jesus.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Acts 10:42: He commanded us to preach unto the people [Peter in Cornelius’ house].

42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 

Acts 13:31-32: Paul and Barnabas declared “glad tidings” [preaching] the promise made unto the fathers.

31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

Acts 14:15: Paul and Barnabas preached that people should turn from vanities to the living God.

15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: 

Acts 17:18: Paul preached Jesus and the resurrection in Athens.

18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection. 

Acts 20:25: Paul went among the Ephesian elders preaching the kingdom of God.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
